I have over 18 years experience with children and 8 years experience with those who have special needs. I myself have 5 sisters, 4 older, 1 younger. My youngest sister was diagnosed with Diabetes at age 2, she is now 24. As a result I know a bit about diabetes, the goods, bads, and what is like to grow up with a diabetic in my home. I am an Aunt of 16 nieces and nephews, 8 boys and 8 girls, ages 3 months to 18 years-old. They are great fun and always keep me on my toes!   I have my license and have only been in one accident in my 14 years of being licensed. I also have a reliable 2014 Toyota Camry.   I worked for 2 years as a regular sitter for a family of two boys- ages 4-6 at the time of starting. The oldest boy Read more has Asperger’s. I would assist with dinner on occasion, school work and cleanup. We spent our time playing games, drawing and listening to music with the occasional 1 or 2 shows and a movie- depending on the day/time.   I have past Experience working as a Nanny for a Family with 5 children. Ages 2-11 at the time. I assisted with driving to events, classes, sports and school. I also helped with dishes, Laundry, dinner, and other household chores as needed.   I have also worked as a PCA for a 6-year-old little boy with Cerebral Palsy and his 1-year-old little brother.. and of course their saint Bernard Tully was there too. I love animals. I've always had them around. Both dogs and cats, fish, hamsters turtles fish, etc. I love them all! Okay, now back to my work with kids.   I worked at The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation for 6 years. The Paul Center is a organization for kids ranging in the ages of 4-22 who have both physical and mental disabilities. I worked both their summer and school year programs. I was also CPR certified as required by the hospital center.   If there is anything else you'd like to know, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.

I have 3 little dogs and a cat. Each of my girls has special requirements. My 17 yr old dog has lost most of her hearing and has limited eyesight, but is still very active and must be carefully watched to prevent harm to herself. My 2 rescues require patience. One is friendly, but is a recent adoptee and a little skittish somtimes. The other came from a very abusive situation and is very timid and won't let anyone beside me touch her. It has been very difficult to find anyone that my timid girl can trust enough, so that I can even think about leaving for more than work or a day trip. My cat is her own person and wants her own space. Megan has come to my house twice and made a very favorable impression on me. She is very professional, pleasant, and personable. For her interview, she stayed for 2 hours, so that my girls could adjust to her. Her references gave her glowing reviews. She has done 1 sitting job for me. The cat, older dog, and friendly rescue all like her and were very comfortable with her. Even my timid rescue was willing to stay in the room fairly close to her and cooperate with trips outside. I was extremely pleased with how this first visit went. Everyone was well cared for and relaxed, when I got home.
