As a working mother of two sons, now 17 and 20, I am finding myself missing small children and I love babies, and toddlers. Fussiness does not bother me and I can set gentle limits. As a social worker, I have training and experience with all ages, and am knowledgeable about child development. But it is not just about the book learning, it is about being able to nurture, comfort and play. I remember how difficult it was to leave the baby, but it made coming home all the sweeter. Since my children are much older, with very different needs, I decided to offer child care for parents who are looking for an experienced, responsible and mature person to look after their children when they could not be there.
