I'm a student just recently out of high school and planning to attend college in the fall. I've spent almost every summer, as far back as I can remember, either attending or working at a summer camp. As part of my employment, I received extensive training in how to understand the psychology of young children towards their care-givers. I have also been trained in CPR and first aid for young children. On the job, I also built up communication skills with the parents of each camper, and I like to think that I'm easy to talk to and very transparent about how the children under my care are doing. As an athlete, I am energetic with the kids, and can almost keep up with their endless energy. As a student, I also can't resist the chance to sneak in a little lesson about structural torque when we're playing with Legos.
