Hi my name is leena akram-boshar and i am 18 and I go to Lesley University. I am majoring in business management and I live in Somerville, MA. I have been a nanny/babysitter for 4 years now with experience with kids ages ranging from newborn to 12 years of age.I have grown up my whole life working among or with children. Immediately when I was old enough be a babysitter, I got my certification and became CPR certified. For the past two years I was my swim teams captain, with age ranges from 5-18. The years of swimming helped me become a lifeguard which I currently am at the moment. I work for the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) during the summers and I work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a lifeguard as well during the academic year. I have had many opportunities to take initiative especially Read more with my jobs. From saving the lives of 5 people to creating games that would suit kids of all ages before things got crazy! I spend a lot of time with my nieces, ages 1, 4, and 6, and family friend’s young children helping them learn how to read, paint/draw, and do fun activities in the park and at home! I always have access to my phone and I am a very good and fast communicator. I am someone who loves to radiate positive energy, which not only helps me be happier all the time but also the people who I am around. I don’t have a car, I live right next to a T stop and have had years of experience taking it. I am available after November 1st.
