Greetings! I am a college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and teaching license for grades 1-6. My most recent experience has been as an instructor and administrator at a residential outdoor education facility for school-aged students in Southern California. In this role, I not only taught students thematic curricula in outdoor skills, leadership, and science, but also provided 24/7 supervision overnight in cabin, and meal and transition times. Other experiences with children are widespread and varied, and include: - Camp counselor and administrator at Camp Beech Cliff (Mount Desert, ME) during the summers 2014-2016 - 450+ formal classroom teaching hours in elementary settings - 10+ years nanny and babysitting experience from children aged 1 month to 15 years. I am certified as a Wilderness First Responder (Wilderness Leadership Institute, exp. 2020), which includes standard first aid, CPR, AED, and Epi-pen/auto injectors.
