I am a 22 year old college student currently studying English and Education. First and foremost, I love working with kids of all ages. My mother was a stay-at-home mom when I was growing up and constantly babysat children during the day in our home, so I grew up around kids and infants and am used to lending that helping hand. I am a person that takes the responsibility of looking after children and a home seriously and have a substantial amount of experience doing so. I have been babysitting since I turned 16, my first job being looking after a toddler, an infant, and a highly energetic dog. Ever since, I have helped a multitude of different families. I have also worked at the local recreation department for 5 years, 2 of which I have been the director of a summer camp for preschoolers Monday-Friday from 8-3 and will Read more be happily returning for my third year of directing this upcoming summer. This director position includes planning and executing a variety of activities and arts and crafts for 30 preschoolers at one time while supervising 7 staff members. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. I have babysat infants, twins, toddlers, multiple children at once as well as animals. I have my own transportation, can cook meals, provide homework help, help out around the house with chores, and anything else necessary for the job. As a soon-to-be high school English teacher, I am also exceptionally good at helping with essay writing and tutoring for English for middle school and high school levels. My availability is slightly deceiving when put into the sitter city format. My latest class this semester goes until 3:45, so depending on where you live, I am available from 4:00 onward on week days and am very flexible during weekends.
