I just want to give you a little history about qualifications. I hope this little bio helps to give you a small insight of what an asset to your family with me could be like. I'm a very honest, trustworthy, caring nanny. I have extensive experience with children of all ages. I was a camp counselor from 13-18. While attending college, I worked at an agency called Minute Women as a nanny. This helped me get acquainted with various types of families& children of all ages, helping me work w/different temperaments. After graduating at UMass Boston w/ a Bachelor's in Psychology, I put my knowledge into my jobs as well.I'm very organized, punctual, reliable,&an open book. The knowledge I obtained from my Psychology degree helped me in nannying in the following ways ...to watch for age appropriate milestones or lack of,to watch for mental, intellectual, speech, emotional, physical delays and psychological developments &concerns. I also worked Read more over the years with early interventionists, nutritionists, occupational, speech &physical therapists. Through these various experiences, I have picked up a lot of additional tips &additional knowledge. After college,I also obtained my CDL class B driving license &drove a school bus for 5 yrs. This really highlighted my reliability, patience &my ability to multitask.Driving safely with up to 60 kids, all while making sure they arrived safely to school on time was quite the task :). Also dropping them off at the correct stop, to the correct parent in a safe, timely manner was equally as important. Additionally,I have multiples experience, day & overnight care. I'm great at sleep training, getting multiples on coinciding schedules, helping new parents get adjusted to sleepless nights while having 2/3 newborns in the home. I nannied 3 years full time for premie twin girls then I had my own son, who is now 3. Care of the child always comes first but If I'm done, I don't mind doing errands, helping with laundry, organizing, etc School aged children are way more independent.Typical days usually I am assisting them w homework, after-school activities, carpooling, snack time, prep dinner, light housekeeping. I love to read, do arts & crafts, dress up, play teacher, etc. I also love sports & outdoors, so I can hangout with the boys as well. Also walks, local parks, zoo, library, as well as other age-appropriate events. I always find something creative, &age appropriate to do. All in all, I love what I do. Thank you for taking your time to read about me
