Aloha! My name is Brittany Young. I am a 24 year old Northeastern graduate living in beautiful Boston. Growing up in Maui, living in California, and now residing in Boston, I have worked with a number of families across the country. I started my career with children at age nine as a mothers helper for a neighbor and her infant and have actively worked with families ever since. In my fifteen years of experience, I worked with children in a variety of capacities and developed a skill set allowing me to connect with each child I work with. Arts and crafts, baking and cooking projects, sports outside, tutoring, exploring the city...you name it, I am enthusiastic to do it. My largest priority is active engagement with your child and to ensure your child is safe, comfortable, and having fun. Currently, my primary work is with two families, 7 children total, Read more between the ages of 1 and 12, which gives me the opportunity to work with a full scope of ages. As the families I work with will be traveling this summer, I seek to keep active with kids and hope to build additional lasting relationships with parents and families throughout Boston. Whether it be for a date night or to get your child/children outside for the day, please consider me for your nannying/babysitting needs. Always included: Household chores Organizational projects Cooking/baking *happy to travel to help advise long weekends etc. *experience with overnight jobs (longest gig included seven day, 24 hours a day commitment watching over two boys, aged 4 and 6 at the time) *though I do not have a car, I do drive and currently drive the drive the kids I work with throughout the city
