I grew up helping raise my younger brother who is seven years younger than me. Since he was an infant, I nurtured and cared for him as much as I could. He was the first thing I went for when I came home from school and I carried him around and entertained him anytime I was home. I helped feed him, played with him, and tucked him into bed and loved taking ownership of story time. As we got older, my role transitioned into one more centered around tutoring him and helping him stay organized and on top of his schoolwork. I also would pick him up from school and take him to various sporting events anytime my parents were unavailable. I loved being responsible for taking care of him in this way and enjoyed the opportunity to transfer these skills into other babysitting roles. Because I grew up in Read more this setting, I feel as though I was able to acquire a strong understanding for the needs of a mom and learn how to be helpful in a wide variety of situations. I absolutely love kids and am very organized and reliable. I am a graduating senior from the University of California, Berkeley and will be moving to Boston in early June. I will be available from early June thru August!
