Hello I'm Molly! I am a daughter to a nurse midwife, thus children have always been a part of my life. I am very close with my mother and have always volunteered my time at the hospital where she works. When I was very young my mother's dear friend asked if I would be her "Mother's Helper," I gladly accepted the job and later became a certified safe sitter. I have taken care of as many as 7 children at one time. I was asked by my pediatrician to be her nanny for a year, this was truly a delight for me. She and her husband have 3 boys all under the age of 4. The oldest still in potty training, and the other two were most definitely not to that stage yet. Of course throughout this time I did babysit for other families on weekends when I was not Read more scheduled to take care of their children. I am a voice major at a conservatory. I love to sing, and be social. I always incorporate music into my child care. I believe music is very important to a child's development, I see it as a natural "must have" in this field of work. Songs for my disney childhood, such as "Following The Leader" from Peter Pan is one I find comes up a lot while I am with the children. (trust me it always works) I prefer to not work with teenagers, however if the teen is respectful then that is what counts! I am a great cook, and not a picky eater, nor do I have many allergies (merely seasonal). I also keep house while babysitting...Parents should never have to clean up after a sitter. I currently work for Saks Fifth Avenue as an Independent Stylist. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
