I truly enjoy spending time with children; watching them grow and develop. I graduated from Wheelock College, with a BS in Counseling Psychology, and four minors: Child Health, Deaf Studies, Life Science, and Human Services. I plan to work with children with emotional and behavioral disorders. I currently work at Boston Children's Hospital. My life experiences have given me a greater empathy an understanding for every child and their unique needs. I believe play for a child is important, especially outside play. I am most comfortable sitting children who are ages 1-6. I have worked and interned in camps, The Valerie Fund Office, and daycare/ after-school care facilities. While I was in Boston for school, I volunteered at Children's Hospital of Boston, Ronald McDonald House, Deaf Inc., and Wheelock Family Theater. Feel free to ask me any questions about my experiences!
