Elizabeth’s Bio

Hi! My name is Liz Toomey and I am a nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital, living in the North End. I am looking for some supplemental babysitting hours during the 4 days off I have during the week. I have always enjoyed working with children and started babysitting at an early age. I have extensive experience caring for newborns, but have also worked with toddlers through preteens. I would love to speak further if you are interested in finding occasional help with childcare!
**NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE REGULARLY/WEEKLY SCHEDULED HOURS DUE TO MY NURSING CAREER**

Liz was our mother's helper for our preemie newborn twin girls, for four months starting when they were about 5 weeks old. She loves working with really young babies, and she's great at it. She even researched the best way to give them medication and to burp them, as they had feeding and severe reflux issues; as new parents we actually learned technique from her! We also trusted Liz to take care of the girls on her own when I went back to work part-time. We recommend Liz, especially for very little ones!
