I have worked with countless families for around 15 years. My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Psychology and a Masters Degree with a major in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education. Currently, I work as a Board Certified Behavior Analysis ( working directly with children with autism) in home based locations. My previous experience includes working as the Assistant Director of a kids and teen center within a health and fitness club. In my lifetime I have worked with kids age 8 weeks old to 22 years old. I enjoy connecting on a person level with each family I work with. For as long as I can remember, working side by side with children has been and will continue to be a passion of mine. I am magnetized by their innocence, carefree attitudes, and comical comments. I am intrigued by every facet of children’s lives including Read more socialization, growth and development, learning process, and health and wellness. I enjoy conversing and entertaining children of all ages. There is a remarkable reward in impacting children’s lives, even in the smallest form. In turn, I learn more from children than I could ever imagine. I can honestly say I love going to work every day just in the notion that I am surrounded by children. Active, patient and extremely easy-going are some core characteristics that define me. I have a positive attitude, I’m reliable and I cannot say enough about how much I love working with children. My personal interests include watching and playing sports, staying in shape, and getting together with friends and family. I love any type of children’s activities whether it be reading, singing, building legos, making crafts, playing sports, creating a fort, or dressing up as a princess to name some of my most recent endeavors! Essentially, I enjoy partaking in any type of activity that will make your child smile and laugh! I believe my best attribute as a caretaker is balancing being silly and your child’s friend while at the same time taking care of your most precious possessions. What I have enjoyed the most of all my past and present positions has been getting to know and becoming a part of every family that I have worked for. Family is an important part of my life and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself and get to know yours!
