I will be 20 in two weeks and just finished my sophomore year at Boston University. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education/ESL and have a love for working with children! In high school, I worked with children of various ages from about 4-12. I started just by babysitting my own younger siblings and neighbors. I then volunteered as a coach for a U6 soccer team. I also worked at an indoor sports complex, where I ran soccer clinics for children from ages four to ten. I also worked the D.A.R.E. summer program as counselor for children about nine to twelve. Sometimes I would volunteer for events in town that involved children, such as a Christmas party in which I dressed as an elf and did arts and crafts with young children. Because of my major, I have also had hands-on experience with children from different grades in both a Read more classroom and physical education setting. Also in college, I have nannied for a child in the summer and worked an April vacation camp at my my college. I love to work with children and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life helping children in my own classroom!
