Hello! My name is Tara and I will be a senior in college. I am majoring in Communication Disorders, specifically studying speech-language pathology. I have aided multiple children and adults with or without disabilities; from counseling at year-round camps for children with special needs, working with Best Buddies International, PCAing adults and children, and peer-mentoring disabled college students at my university. I also taught gymnastics and dance classes in the past to girls and boys between the ages of 2 and 6. I put my all into discovering and meeting the needs of each individual and have found that incorporating my musical techniques with them has only made for positive progress. I love to be outdoors and am experienced with activities and/or games for children of all ages. I always clean and cook for the child[ren] I am watching if this is something the parent would benefit from. I also Read more have owned pets my entire life growing up so am comfortable caring for or being around them as well.
