My name's Mikayla; I'm 19 years old. I have been around children for as long as I can remember. My sisters are much older than I, and my first niece was born when I was 9 years old. Even at such a young age, I loved taking care of her and would watch her for short intervals of time, which as I got older, slowly turned into full days. I also have a niece & nephew (ages 3 & 2) that I've been babysitting since the older one was born. I've babysat for several families as well. I've babysat children of all ages and have experience with multiples. In my spare time, I teach karate to children ages 4-14. I've been teaching since I was in middle school and now I am a lead instructor. I also participate in karate camps as a counselor every year. I've always loved kids. I don't mind changing diapers, cleaning up after kids, or driving to activities or sports. I'm a licensed EMT (CPR & First Aid certified), so any emergency situations that may arise are in good hands. I am currently in college and attend Tuesday/Thursday. I teach karate Monday/Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings, but I am very flexible with those if given prior notice.
