I've always enjoyed caring for children. Growing up, I danced seriously with Boston Ballet, and each summer I would organize a ballet "camp" for the younger kids in my neighborhood to teach them ballet. I always sought opportunities to engage with and organize games for the children in my neighborhood. I babysat almost every weekend during high school and was very close with the families that I babysat for. In the summers during college, I worked as a camp counselor at an overnight camp for at-risk children from an inner city background. I'm comfortable dealing with large groups of children from diverse backgrounds. Throughout college, I tutored children from the surrounding middle schools. I currently work at a small financial consulting firm in Newton, but am looking to find some babysitting on the weekends.
