I am a passionate, energetic, fun, hard working, and loving nanny. Early on as a young college student I realized that my goal as a professional was to serve institutions that provide agency to youth populations. Today I am a proud Cum Laude UTSA graduate with a B. A. in Psychology, and my ultimate dream is to open my very own facility or in-home daycare that aims to supervise and enlighten youth. Providing child care assistance professionally thus far has helped me create a focus on my plan to open my own daycare center while also allowing me to do what I love. As a student I quickly became employed at my university's campus recreation center, known as UTSA Campus Recreation. For close to five years I served Campus Rec in more than one department including Operations, Club Sports, and Fitness. Within the Operations Department I earned a promotion to Read more Manager position and oversaw many responsibilities for several months, before moving on to becoming a Group Exercise Instructor within the Fitness Department, and an assistant in the Club Sports Department. Working at UTSA Campus Rec helped me gain skills that can be applied to several different job types; their focus on student development furthered my ability to cultivate success as not only a student but also as a professional. My last semester of school, in the fall of 2014, I had the privilege of working with kids in a professional setting through an internship with the non-profit SA Youth. As an intern I assisted children of a broad spectrum with ages that range from k-12. For five months I was a mentor, a tutor, a reading buddy, a coach, and a role model and I absolutely loved it! Since graduation I have been working as a full time nanny, a part time nanny, and sometimes as an occasional babysitter aiming to help families care for their children by providing in home care and supervision. I am certified in both adult and pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED, so I can guarantee that your children will be safe with me. It is important to me that the children I work with feel understood as an individual and that they are able to have fun while also learning to be responsible.
