My experience with care began at 12 years old as a mothers helper. I love getting to know families and watching children grow and thrive. Babysitting was my primary source of income through middle and high school. Now, as a college graduate, I serve with City Year in an 8th Grade classroom in Jamaica Plain. Each day, I work with students on behavior management, self confidence, and making learning fun. I have ample experience balancing warm/strict attitudes towards young people; enforcing standards while giving children space to express themselves. When I babysit, I love to cook, spend time outside and create art!
