I have babysat dozens of families for the past decade. And I'm only 21! There is so much I can say about why I love it so much, but it will take too long. So I will say this: my favorite moments with all my families have been the bonds I create with the kids and the wonderful relationships I build with the families. I consider them all extended family, and it is extra special to get to see the newborns I started sitting years ago celebrate their 5th, 6th, 7th birthdays, and so on. There is nothing that compares to the innocence, curiosity, and childlike wonder that children possess, and it is always such a blessing to get to encourage and experience those moments with them. I have experience babysitting children of many ages, starting with newborn babies through young teenagers. I also coached gymnastics throughout high school to Read more preschool aged children through teenage competitive gymnasts, and I created my own summer camp when I was nine (I still wonder why anyone trusted their children with a nine-year-old!). By its 10th year we had over 25 families attending each two-week session. So many great memories were made! Thus, I would consider myself experienced and I have extensive practice working with and taking care of children. I would love the opportunity to talk to you should you be seeking a babysitter for your child(ren). I will be a senior at BC this coming school year, and am available on and off this summer (around vacations) and during the year/beyond. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested in talking to see if this is a potential working relationship! ******important scheduling: In the availability section, I've changed it to match my fall classes schedule which last until Dec (it only allows me to mark for a few months ahead!), so it's not accurately representing my availability (weeks or time of day) during the rest of the summer. I will be on vacation July 18-27, and August 12-29. Other than that, I am available all day any day (with enough notice, given other commitments) until the end of August!
