Hi, my name is Giselle. I hold a BA degree in Psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University, as well as my BSN from Northeastern University. I am also currently enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program at Northeastern. I have extensive experience as a nanny and babysitter...over 10 years! I have worked as a nanny, a before school babysitter, an after-school babysitter, a night-nurse for newborns...you name it and I've probably done it! In addition, my Senior Practicum in nursing school was spent in the Birthing Unit/Post-Partum Unit at LGH...I have a 'thing' for babies...! For the past 4 years I have been working with one family with 3 kids who are now 11, 8, and 4. I worked as their full-time nanny (60+ hours/week) for 2.5 years. While completing my nursing program, I stayed on for 2 days/week. Although I can no longer work for this family as Read more I am now a full-time RN, I maintain a very close relationship with the kids, the parents, and even the family dog! I currently work as an RN in a community health center in Dorchester. I work in primary care, and am becoming certified in Family Planning in order to help carry out my first community initiative...! I am a very energetic individual who is passionate about caring for others (whether that means children, patients, animals, etc...). In my free time I enjoy running with a local running club, as well as attending spin classes at the local Y. I also volunteer for a doggie rescue league. I am looking for occasional babysitting Friday evenings and Sat/Sun (day or night). I would be more than happy to provide any additional information upon request!
