Hi my name is Kera. I am a junior in college. I have spent most of my college years and summer vacations babysitting and being a nanny to some amazing families in Boston, Manhattan and Providence. I am an active, fun, and responsible babysitter and individual. More importantly, I love children. Over the years, I have cultivated long lasting relationships with the families I have nannied for. Some even consider me, as I do myself, an extension of their family. My past jobs often required me to take the kids to regularly scheduled classes at various locations, i. e. mommy and me classes, as well as trips to the children's museum and aquarium. I frequently bike/jog 20 miles a week, and participate in a variety of activities. I have volunteered in the past at the shelter for homeless children in Boston as well as Habitat for Humanity. Experiences: -  Performed various duties including preparing, serving and feeding meals to the children, bathing and dressing the children, and assisting them with daily activities. Often did the laundry and tidied the children's room. Took the children out for walks, played games with them and kept a watchful eye while they were entertaining themselves to make sure they were safe.  I have been a part time baby sitter for the Watson family in Springfield, MA since 2007, where I babysat two boys. My responsibilities included making breakfast, lunch, bathing them, arranging play dates, assisting with homework and studies, and engaging in playtime.  I also babysat for another family from 2008 to 2010 where I took care of an autistic teenage boy and his 14-year-old sister. I usually had to stay over night on the weekends and leave early Monday morning after I got the boy bath, dressed and on the school bus. I also had many housework/cleaning jobs.
