Sonia was actually a great Nanny. She took care of our kids (age 7, 4, and 6 months old) for a month. We were very happy with Sonia. She seemed to lover our kids and they loved her. Sonia not only provided great care for our kids, but she always found time to tidy up the kitchen before the end of the day - something we loved coming home to after a long day at work. One morning in the summer, Sonia texted us to tell us she "decided not to come back". The text was sent at 6 AM and we were expecting her there at 8 AM. We had to scramble (and miss work) that day to find care for all 3 of our kids. Actually, the whole week was brutal as we struggled to find last minute care. We tried to contact her several times to figure out why she quit. Sonia never got back to us. We wanted to know if it was because she got a new job, a behavioral problem with our kids, not enough pay, ...etc. It's been 2 months now and we still don't know whey she quit on us. At first, we hoped we could get her back and work out whatever the issue was but at this point, it's tough seeing us trusting her again with our kids. We really do wish Sonia the best. But quitting with no notice (and no reason given) in this type of job is absolutely unacceptable and we don't want it to happen to any other families.
