We were travelling to the Hyannis area for a wedding in June and needed a babysitter for one night for our 10 month old son. We were very nervous leaving our son with a stranger, having only vetted her and her references by phone and online, but Amanda was great at communicating with us throughout the vetting process and gave us two references to call (who gave her glowing reviews). Amanda met us at our hotel and was sweet and friendly, and very engaging with our son who loved playing with her, and she sent us text and photo updates every few hours which allowed us to have a wonderful night out to celebrate our friend's wedding. We would definitely recommend her for one-time sitting jobs like ours!

Amanda is great! She got right down on the same level with my 3 year old and got playing. She was happy to read the extraordinarily large stack of books awaiting her. My child felt comfortable almost immediately. She is on time and has a huge smile. She is easy to communicate logistics with and, in general, a wonderful sitter. I look forward to hiring her again.
