My husband Ben and I recently moved to Cambridge from Portsmouth, NH. He is a student at the Harvard Extension School, and I continue to work at an Energy Company in South Boston, where I have been for two years. Even though I have been successful at my present job, I am looking for a change. I am a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science. Throughout college I worked in classrooms ranging from kindergarten to high school, and was often relied upon to make the lesson plans for the class. I also taught English in Slovakia for a year to high school students. While the older students were fun and definitely challenging, I most enjoyed working in the younger grades and helping them to develop and grow. I have a 5 years old nephew, and we’re always busy when we're together. I am an extremely organized, responsible, caring, and loving individual, and I will take care of your child as if they were a part of my family. During nap times I'll be happy to do housework including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and prepping/making meals, or whatever you need done around your home.
