My name is Denorma Campbell. I am a 50 year old Brazilian teacher US citizen who lives in Cambridge, MA. I am married with no kids (unfortunately). I have been babysitting since 2007, when I arrived in the USA. I also used to babysit/nanny for my neighbors, my siblings and my friends before I graduated and started to work as a teacher ( what I've done for over 20 years). Being a teacher also made me totally comfortable and skilled with children of all ages. One of my most rewarding experiences as a teacher was working with mentally and/or physically challenged children. I have learned tremendously from them and I apply all my knowledge and experience to my babysitting. I am fluent in both written and spoken English and I have an intermediate level of Italian and Spanish. I am also studying French.  I interact and get along very well with kids from babies to teens. I have a very soft Read more spot for newborns, toddlers and early school age. I'm a totally dependable person, good-humored, affectionate, funny and dedicated to the persons I work with/for. I believe education starts at home, so I always incorporate educational activities to my babysitting. I love singing, dancing,  role playing  and playing puppets  with kids. If your child likes games and puzzles I am their buddy! I also love arts and crafts. I know the most common nursery rhymes and songs which I like to sing with the children while creating "choreography" to have them exercise while having fun. I do really love to babysit as it's in my nature to love and care. You will find in me somebody you can entrust your kids and leave home sure they will be loved and cared and have lots of fun! And I am a great cook! I am looking for a family I can commit for the longest time, but I also accept temporary positions in the meantime.
