I am a current student at the Longy School of Music, pursuing a Master's in Flute Performance. Last May I graduated from the Eastman School of Music, majoring in Music Education and Piano. I am certifed in CPR/AED and First Aid, and although I did babysit less during college, I have been babysitting since I was 14. I can entertain children easily, I am willing to play any games, make up any games, take children on outings, tutor, cook, houseclean, and put kids to bed. I am a fast learner, very attentive to instructions, and grasp new directions quickly. I can also speak some basic conversational Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese. I have much experience with children in various settings in addition to babysitting, including teaching Early Childhood Music from ages 18 months-6 years, being an after-school teacher for kindergarteners, and being a summer camp couselor for kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade, Read more and high school. I have also taught band at the high school and elementary school levels. Because of these experiences I am not afraid to enforce parents' rules while they are away, as well as making sure to be gentle and keep things fun. Ideally, I'd prefer to work no more than 2 or 3 hours in a given day, since I am a full time student.
