I am a recent Boston College graduate taking summer classes at RISD in Providence, RI and am looking for part time work. In the past I have babysat kids ages 3-16, been a tutor for Cardinal Scholars for kids in kindergarten through high school, coached 2 middle school sports for Newton Country Day School, worked for Newton's Boys and Girls Club, and also been a full time counselor at a ranch camp in Wyoming (called Teton Valley Ranch Camp) for the past full three summers! I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, and have also graduated from the NOLS Wilderness first aid course. At Teton Valley Ranch Camp I was a trip leader as well as a counselor, which meant I was in charge of all medical, logistical, and leadership needs while in the back country and this has made me a great problem solver and master of risk Read more management. I love teaching and being around kids, and all these experiences have also helped make me creative, compassionate, and patient when working with all sorts of people. I am also very comfortable with animals - ranging from cats, dogs, fish, horses, and more - and so would love the chance to take care of them as well! In terms of cooking, I have some experience cooking for myself at home, and also cooking for entire groups out on camping trips, but I do prefer baking!
