Hi All! My name is Lexi and I was born and raised in Barnstable, Cape Cod Massachusetts. I have been working with children on a professional level in some way shape or form for about 8 years now, and have grown up with 5 siblings of my own; precisely where my love of being a caregiver comes from. I have worked with age ranges from 1 ½ years old- 16 years old, and everything in-between. I have had numerous babysitting jobs for both friends, family, and friends of family. I worked as a leisure program counselor for 3 summers, where I received my Red Cross certification in both First Aid and CPR/AED. I have also previously attained my Bachelors Degree in Elementarty Education and Communication and Culture, granting me professional licensure as an elementary school teacher. Currently, I am enrolled in a Masters program where I will receive my Special Read more Education license. I have experience with disabled persons (at the age ranges of 5-7 and 12-16), both inside and outside of the classroom. I have finished numerous hours of both observation and hands on work during an elementary age group internship, a practicum, as well as devoted volunteer time. Serving as a caregiver is my passion, and my love for my work with children is ever growing. I hope that I will be able to share a new and fun experience with both you and your loved ones!
