Most of my work experience has been with children. Since the age of nine I have been babysitting, and more recently I have tutored and been a camp counselor. During my junior year of high school I tutored a third grader in math once a week, and throughout my high school career I have worked as a volunteer tutor through Roxbury Prep, Achieve, and at Deep Creek Middle School on Eleuthera, Bahamas during my semester abroad. Working at Dedham Country Day Camp in the summer of 2013 lead me to discover how interested I truly am in childhood development and concreted my desire to work with children in the future. Through the University of Wisconsin Madison I volunteer for two hours every week at an inner city elementary school with children whose first language is Spanish. A few of my other main interests include sports, travel, and art. I played Read more sports all throughout high school at Noble and Greenough, and have continued playing lacrosse on the UW Madison Women's Club lacrosse team. I enjoy drawing and painting in my free time. I love being active and being outdoors. I am lifeguard /First Aid /CPR /AED certified.
