Hello! Currently, I work in a public school district in Western Mass as a Speech-Language assistant, providing therapy services to children ranging in grades from Pre-K - 5th grade. I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. I have always been passionate about working with children, and I have had several years of experience caring for families with children ranging from infancy to elementary-age. Characteristics that I pride myself on as a childcare provider are fostering a sense of curiosity, safety, and fun experiences! I am a big advocate for spending time outdoors (when weather permits); otherwise, I enjoy reading books and playing games with the children I look after. I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, as I have two of my own. I am also CPR/First Aid certified. I am relocating to the Boston area from my hometown of East Read more Longmeadow, MA in June due to my significant other’s work, and I plan on obtaining a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education starting in the Fall of 2018. I am seeking full-time hours in the summer months that would transition to part-time hours in the Fall when I begin my Master’s program. Excellent references will be readily available upon request.
