I have been caring for siblings, cousins and neighbors since I was 12. I have babysat since I was 13 for 2 families- one family with 2 kids - 1 boy (5 years old) and 1 girl (9 years old) I would take care of them after school- make snacks, help with homework make dinner and occasionally put them to bed. The other family was a family with 3 girls, the oldest is currently 5 I started to care for her from when she was 1- 3 years old and now I babysit all 3, the twins are 10 months, most of my responsibilities with this family were making dinner and getting the kids ready for bed. I also worked at an early childhood care center I was in the 2-3-year-old classroom, responsibilities included cleaning classroom toys and tables and putting the kids down for nap times.
