I have been a volunteer youth cheerleading coach for five years and have worked as an after school and summer program group leader for the past three years. I am a student at the University of Maine studying child development and family relations. I am looking for a caregiving job this summer rather than my group leader position because I would like to create more personal relationships with the children I am working with. I would also like to be able to provide the one on one interactions that can’t happen as easily in a group setting.
