I started babysitting for family and friends at the age of 12 after completing a babysitting course at the UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, Ma. From there I completed certification in first aid and CPR, and expanded my clientele basis through word of mouth and recommendations. I began my first nanny/ mothers helper position at 15 and have continued to work with that family consistently over the last 8 years. I cared for 3 children aged 8 months, 3 yrs, and 5 yrs, over the course of 6 months while living abroad in Australia, and have since continued to take jobs as both a nanny and occasional babysitter between work back here in the states. I have a clean driving record, valid license, and live a healthy, active and smoke free lifestyle. I've always been passionate about childcare, and take pride in my ability to create a warm nurturing and Read more educational environment. I strive to make a positive, lasting impression on every child in my care. I care for every child as though they were my own, while still adhering to any specific parenting styles my client may prefer. I'm particularly passionate about reading and hope to install a love of books and learning in every child i work with. I am flexible with pay, duties and other responsibilities. House hold cleaning, meal prep, and work with pets are all things i'm familiar and comfortable with. I have experience with children and babies from new born to 11 years old. I'm currently looking for either a full time nanny position or part time/occasional babysitting shifts.
