I don't have a traditional babysitting background, though I have extensive experience working with children. I am a sleep away summer camp counselor at YMCA Camp Takodah for summer 2017 and 2018. There i worked primarily with children aged 7-12 but I worked with all of the children at camp up to age 16. I have also worked as a swim instructor for all ages, from Parent Child Classes with newborns, to pre-swim team kids (aged 12-14), to personal adult swim lessons and adult swim aerobics classes. I am also starting soon as an America Reads tutor to children in the Holyoke School System in grades K-5 where I will be working in small groups and individually with kids in on their homework and critical reading skills. I love working with children because it's one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I get to teach them new Read more things, see them grow and find their interests and passions in life. I love babysitting and working with children because i get to help them become the amazing people they can become and help them accomplish everything they want to.
