I live in Haverhill, MA., for 15 years. Previously I live in the South Shore Brockton, MA. and owned and operated an In-Home -Day Care for 15 years.  I was also a Mentor for the State of MA. to mentor new providers when they were having difficulties and would help them solve on going communication problems and behavior problems with the children.  I also was a Supervisor for a Food Program and would go to providers homes to make sure they were following the states nutrition food program rules and the children  were getting served nutritious meals. I have worked with two (2) famlies for long term commitments since I moved to Haverhill 15 years ago. . 2000 - 2009 When I started with the family they had a l6 month old boy and a 6 week new born boy.  They had 2 more children which I help to nuture, Read more love and care for.  The ages of the children now are 15 years, 13.6 years, 11.6 years and 9.  They moved 40 miles away and I will miss them dearly. 2009 - 2014 When I started with this family they had just had their 2nd infant. Their oldest child was 3.6 years of age. The younget child is now 5 yrs. old and will enter full time kindergarden in the fall. My position ended at the end of May 2014. I enjoyed working for this family and love and adore the children. I greatly miss them. With both families I cleaned up after children played, made breakfast, lunch, snacks. Put infants on awake/sleep schedule, logging in times, logging in feeding times. Changed diapers, potty trained, took children to library, messy play, play ground, sometimes to museums, etc. Setup play dates. Made sure the children had a fun day. I like the parents to feel that their children are well taken care of and happy while they are at work. Discipline stragerties are times outs 1 minute for each age. Discussing why they are in time-out. That can be discussed at interview. I am looking to work for a family who would like an experienced nanny, who will be loyal, trustworthy, caring , love and nuture your child/children, provide you with peace of mind as you work.
