A little about me: My name is Katrine, I live in Jamaica Plain and I teach part-time an After School Program in Needham, MA. I will be available to babysit in the afternoons this summer from June 21st-Sept 1st. Ideally, I am looking to work recurring weekly afternoon shifts with a family to take the place of my job at my after school program for the summer. I am also available for professional organizing and, of course, babysitting on the weekends. I have experience nannying for many different families over the years. Currently I nanny 3 mornings a week for a family with 4 small boys, ages 5, 4, 2 and 10 months. I've been with this family for over a year, and I love them very much!! I am First Aid and HeartSaver CPR certified, including infant and child CPR. I have over 15 years experience caring for children Read more of all ages. When I babysit, I like to arrive with a special tote bag full of art supplies and books that I bring from home. Sometimes, I'll plan ahead and bring a special surprise art project. I like to keep the kids busy, taking them outside whenever possible during the day (rain or shine), and I do my best to stay present and engaged with them at all times (not on my phone). We stay safe, get plenty of exercise, play lots of games and have fun! I also make sure they're fed, bathed and get to sleep on time. In addition to nannying and babysitting, have several years experience serving as a household manager for busy Moms. This includes light cleaning, cooking, laundry, groceries, errands, and household tasks such as organizing toys and books, organizing bedrooms and closets, etc. I work freelance as a professional organizer, and if desired I can use these skills to help busy families manage their home, reducing stress and helping to make room for quality time.
