I have been working with children since I was about 13 years old. I started off babysitting my neighbors and family friends, once I turned 16 I got my first job inside a daycare. I was a certified toddler teacher for two and a half years and absolutely adored my job. I unfortunately had to leave when I started college at SCSU, I eventually decided to commute and started working with children again. I started working at the Sports Center of CT hosting kids parties and started part-time with a family in Newtown in 2013. I ended up leaving the Sports center for a full time position with the family in Newtown. They had two young boys who were extremely active and knew how to keep me going. It never phased me because I am extremely active young woman, I played lacrosse for 14 years and cheered for about 14. Read more I ended up leaving the family in Newtown because their mother went on maternity leave and no longer needed me. I am now currently working at a daycare and CPR, first aid, eli-pen and medication administration certified. I was also working with a family in Fairfield part-time until they no longer needed me for the summer. I am currently looking for a family to work with and help with their children, I have a lot of experience.

I spoke to Amber at length by phone and was impressed. In fact I was impressed enough to ask for references and arrange an in person interview. One reference did not remember her, the other had many lovely things to say. When it came time for the in person interview she did not show up. There was no phone call, text message or e-mail to let me know she wasn't coming or why. When I reached out afterwards she did not respond with either an explanation or an apology. She may be an excellent caregiver but I would be concerned about her reliability.
