Hi families! I’m currently looking for a part time nanny position for the summer! A little bit about me - I’m currently a nursing student, my last day of class is May 8th this semester, I graduate next May. - I’ve been a residential counselor at Saint Vincent Services for 3 years now. I work with kids aged 4-13 there. I work with DCF kids who have trauma induced behaviors and help them work through their trauma with coping skills. I work with a wide range of kids. Some types of kids I work with have autism, PTSD, oppositional deficient disorder, ADHD, etc. I have also worked with a lot of nonverbal kids in my time there. - I also currently work at Saint Anne’s hospital, I started there in the ER in August. I just recently transferred to the ICU. I’m a CNT there which is a nurse tech. Read more - Before Saint Vincent’s I was a preschool assistant teacher at a daycare. - I started nannying a few years ago. The first family I nannied for was a family of 3. At the time they were 7,4 and 2. I nannied last summer as well for a family of 2 a 2.5 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. - I’m BLS certified and will be renewing my certificate in May, it expires in June. I’m looking for a position that offers about 2 days a week, and if needed occasional date nights or weekends. I’m currently per diem in my other position so I can work around your schedule.
