As a young child, I got the pleasure of becoming an older sister. This role helped me develop strong skills in babysitting. I became intrigued with the thought of personally having the ability to have a positive affect on children, as it could potentially consider me a role model for some. I started babysitting within my family. Then, I expanded to helping out with the children in my neighborhood. As time went on, I have completed internships at schools and day cares, worked as an at home tutor, as well as an after school/ day time tutor, and also dedicated some of my summers to a special needs camp. Having these experiences helped me grow and become a strong leader. I've learned the ways to communicate effectively. Also, I had various opportunities to create my own activities and lesson plans to accommodate a variety of children with different preferences. While Read more being energetic, caring, understanding, and enthusiastic, I have received many recognition awards for these skills. As I am dedicated and reliable, I am willing to be as flexible as possible to attend to the needs of children and families.
