Hello! My name is Brittany Perro and I am a 25-year old professional who lives in Medford, MA. I grew up in central Massachusetts, went to Emerson College (Class of 2011), then moved to San Antonio to do Teach For America for two years. While in TFA, I taught 7th and 8th grade Special Education Math and English Language Arts. While teaching, I also coached cheerleading and directed the drama club. Before leaving my school at the end of my 2-year commitment, I was named Teacher of the Year. In August, I moved back to Massachusetts to work in a sales position at a huge corporation in an attempt to be financially responsible and pay off my college debt in a timely manner. I wish I could still teach, but it was just not fiscally possible. Therefor, I've made it my mission to dedicate myself to children and students outside Read more of my 9-5. I'm a volunteer instructor for a Student Leadership Program, currently applying to be a Big Sister, and looking to be an AWESOME babysitter! I've been babysitting since I was about 9 years old, however I look at the job more seriously now as I truly understand the importance of positive influences in a child's live. I believe I would be a great caregiver for any child, as I fully dedicate myself to those I surround myself with. I am fun, bubbly, artistic, creative, energetic, and thoughtful--BUT I am also good at following the rules and being firm. Not to mention, I keep things clean and tidy. I've cared for all ages--from newborns to 14 year olds, and am comfortable caring for multiple children. As for certifications, I am CPR Certified. I am also a certified special education and secondary teacher, so I am very good at helping with homework. I hope that you consider me to care for your child!
