Hello, My name is Melissa. I am currently looking for a nanny and or babysitting position for the upcoming summer of 2015 or if needed on weekends, date nights (late nights) A little bit about myself: I graduated from Syracuse University and will be taking time in the summer to study and prepare for my GRE's and can do so around any work schedule. Therefore my work schedule is extremely flexible. Aside from studying I am also learning and studying Portuguese on my spare time and enjoy reading. I am also comfortable with pets as I myself am an owner or a 2 year old pug Past Experience: In my previous position, I worked as a paralegal in a firm in downtown Boston. Prior to that, I was a nanny to two wonderful twin girl that were of the age of 5-6. I cared for the children for about a Read more year. As their nanny, I was responsible for picking them up from school, preparing dinner, light house keeping and putting them into bed. On occasion, I would stay later than usual if the parent requested and would care for them during long weekends when the parents needed a little break. I also vacationed with the family and am willing to do so in the future. I also cared for an infant (newborn to 3 months) during the weekends for a single mother of three and have experiences in preparing bottles, properly changing diapers, bathing, washing clothes, sanitizing bottles and assuring that the baby was well fed(at the proper time) burped and cradled to sleep. In addition, at Syracuse University, I ran a financial literacy class for third grade children with disabilities and did so for two academic semesters. During my time as a teacher, I was responsible for roughly 30 children . If needed, I am willing to provide all reference, both personal and professional and can provide information for a CORI or could provide one personally.
