I raised four Young adult children. I have also, babysat many , many children all ages. I have volunteered in church nursery and Sunday school an assisted with VBS and lead youth group at my church. I am a registered nurse with the current Massachusetts license, I also have current CPR and first aid certifications. At this time I am substitute teaching at my church daycare, which I can provide references from upon request. I also take care of a Developmentally delayed boy , Whom I adore, once a week. I have only been a nanny for this past year and at the church daycare working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers, I really love working with the children. In the past I worked as a CNA, then I received my LPN license in 1986 and went back to school at the age of 50 to complete my associates degree as Read more an RN. I have been working in the nursing field for over 30 years and I still have a current Massachusetts RN license. However, I have a real passion for taking care of children and have decided that I really like being A nanny. I am a caregiver at heart, I absolutely love taking care of people especially children. I also have a passion for teaching, so I love to read to children and talk to them about all kinds of different things . It's so exciting to see them learn new things. I'm looking for a Nanny position with the family that would allow me the privilege of caring for their child or children and helping them to grow, learn and strive to be the best they can be. Ideally, I am looking for approximately 24 to 40 hours at a decent pay rate looking at $15 to $25 per hr. I will be claiming this on taxes Therefore looking for a little bit higher rate. This will also be good For you as the client being able to claim my pay on your taxes as a tax deduction for childcare. Rate is however negotiable. I wish you all the best of luck in finding the best nanny for you and your family and I thank you for considering me Blessings, Teresa
