When I was 14, I began babysitting two families that my sister had been watching prior to going off to college. I have watched up to four siblings at a time. I have worked for 4 different families through the years. The children have ranged from infant to middle school. I have two nieces and one nephew. Two are 3 years old and one is 15 months. I watch them whenever their parents need a night out or a day trip. I have always had a passion of working with children. This passion has lead to me currently working in a school system as a Special Education Teacher Assistant. Also, I am working toward my Masters in Early Childhood Education. I find my early experiences with babysitting have had such a positive impact on me. It definitely helped me in making the decision to become a teacher.
