I have been a social worker most of my life. I have worked with children with severe disabilities , with troubled children and with children who are more fortunate. I have raised three birth children of my own and have mentored children who weren't mine. I am blessed with a three year old granddaughter who keeps me sharp. Actually I started babysitting when I was ten, I attended a YWCA class and that was it. I've always loved children they are all special in some way. And as I learned with my own children, each age of development is interesting as children discover their world in deeper cognition, it makes each age interesting and some more challenging than others but none the less a learning process for the whole family.
