I began as a mothers helper from ages 12-14 on Long Island (New York) where I grew up. At age 14, I began my first solo-sitting experience with a 3-month old baby boy, and had been with that family (now 3 children - 10 and under) since that time. I have worked with more than 14 families over the past 12 years in varying capacities (i.e., filling sporadic sitter needs, nannying full time over the summer, birthday party hostess/coordinator, regular/weekly sitting, tutoring etc.), and moved to Newton from New York June 2014. As of July 2015, I moved to Jamaica Plain and am loving my all the fun opportunities this town has to offer! I have worked with children as young as 12 weeks to as old as 14 years of age. I will gladly expand on any of these experiences, but could not begin to choose which of them Read more to highlight, as this space is far to short to describe all of the skills I've learned and fun times I have had over the years. Additionally, I worked through college at an inflatable party space (Pump It Up of Great Neck) supervising parties of 13 - 60 children (and their parents, who can be equally as rowdy at times!). I am happy to speak with anyone looking for a sitter in the area and will provide references upon request (I do not like to give out reference information haphazardly / without asking the referee if it is okay to share their information first).
