Hi Mom and Dad! My name is Racheal and I just graduated from Stonehill College in May with a degree in Early Education and French. After spending the summer be a nanny for two girls, 8 and 9. I'm looking for a new family. Let me tell you about my childcare history; for the past three years I have been a summer nanny for the two girls I previously mentioned, before that I was a summer nanny for three children, two boys and a girl, ages 2, 4, and 7. In high school, I was home-schooled and able to work part time at a daycare for 28 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. While in college I participated in 4 internships at local schools, with an inclusive preschool class, a kindergarten class, a fourth grade and a fifth grade class. Some things I like to do with children Read more are reading, arts and crafts, playing outside, and small trips. I love to read a book with children and then do a craft related to the book. I find this not only gets the child to read but also helps with comprehension and creativity. I enjoy being outside and I feel that every child should experience fresh air and sunshine as much as they can. Being outside also helps expend at least of a little of their endless energy. I think it is nice for a child to be able to experience their environment so exploring is nice. On trips I like to take children to their local library, pool, park, etc. There's so much to do with children and I would love to help your child discover at least a little of what the world has to offer.
