Hi I have been in human services since the early for 20+ years. I have worked with children Of various ages, settings and backgrounds. I am able to taylor my approach with each child based on their personality and interests. I am certified in CPR and FIrst Aid. I have been a babysitter for numerous families over the years. I even worked with a young child who was adopted from Russia once a week for three years. I helped him to develop his language skills and social skills. We did a wide variety of age appropriate activities. I feel that i have various strengths that allow me to be a competant, enthusiastic and reliable sitter. The children that I have worked with become comfortable with me quickly. I have received positive feedback from the parents that have hired me. I get a great deal of satisfaction helping children learn and Read more grow. I absolutely love children of all ages and abilities. I am able to assist children to handle challenging situations in a kind and supportive manner. In addition to a great deal of experience helping various families, I have raised a wonderful 17 year old boy. I truly understand the various needs of children, given a variety of situations that arise. I welcome the opportunity to meet you and your children. I feel that I could be a great asset to your family. I am currently have 4 days available in my schedule so it will be easy fnding a suitable day for me to come to your home. I am not looking for a babysitting job that requires me to work several days. One day works well for me. Also, I am committed to helping a family for as long as I am needed.
