Hi! My name is Hailey and I am a college graduate working with a degree in both elementary education and psychology. I am currently a 5th grade teacher in a low income, high need school district. As a recent grad, I have decided to continue my education pursing a master degree to further my knowledge in the field of education. It has been my life long dream to become a teacher, and I am proud to say I have made my dream a reality. Along with my career as an educator, I also work as a part-time nanny during the school year (20-30 hours) and a full-time nanny in the summer/during vacations (40-60 hours). As a nanny I have worked with a diverse group of families. I have worked with families with multiple kids and I have worked with kids ranging from newborn to 16 years old. I have worked Read more as a full-time caregiver (including over-nights) and assumed responsibilities ranging from household duties, pets, errands, cleaning and managing day-to-day life (groceries, appointments and carpool). I have always had a passion working with children. When I was 11 years old, I started as a "mother's helper" and became a nanny when I was 16 years. I quickly took on the responsibility of providing fully for a family. I consider myself to be extremely reliable, responsible and passionate about my job. My current family I have been with for 4 years (and counting) and find myself to be more than just a nanny, but a member of their family which makes the job so important and meaningful to me.
