Hello! My name is Melissa and I am 21 years old. I am currently pursuing a degree in Education at Bunker Hill Community College. I hope to one day work in an Elementary School as a second grade teacher. I have been working for an after-school program with children, ages 6-11 years, for approximately 4 years now. I have experienced working with students in small group settings, as well as one-on-one focusing on literacy, math and social skills. My job includes, but is not limited to, homework help, implementing daily lesson plans that complimented the school's curriculum, execute academic enrichment activities that helped strengthen student's physical, social and academic needs, and encouraged positive student interactions.
